Clarivate Cortellis is a suite of Life Science intelligence solutions that accelerate innovation.

Cortellis Discovery and Pre-Clinical early research solutions include system biology products such as MetaCore™, MetaDrug™, Key Pathway Advisor, and others.

MetaBase™ is the knowledge base behind all systems biology products. MetaBase™ contains over 6 million experimental findings on protein-protein, protein-nucleic acids, and protein-compound interactions. MetaBase™ also includes thousands of established canonical signaling and metabolic pathways, ligand-receptor binding data for drugs and bioactive compounds, drug targets and diseases, and other information. All this content makes it the most comprehensive manually curated database of mammalian biology data available today in both industry and academia.

Programmatic access to full MetaBase™ content is offered via the MetaBase API, a subscription-based API, which allows a wide range of users like bioinformaticians, scientists, or developers, to search and retrieve information for different MetaBase™ terms and the relations between them.

Free (to registered users) MetaBase API Lite provides Search-and-Browse access to selected MetaBase content, including certain open-source based vocabularies, and the ability to search and receive summary counts of major MetaBase entities, including biological entities, compounds, diseases and genetic aberrations, molecular and other interactions, networks and pathways.
